When searching for a China soundproof aluminum folding door supplier, inspect capability, not polished catalogs.
Request factory videos, equipment lists, and recent inspection records. An experienced supplier should explain aluminum alloy, profile thickness, thermal breaks, glazing, seals, and folding hardware clearly.
Ask for acoustic test reports based on ISO 10140-2 and ratings under ISO 717-1. A claimed “soundproof” result without test frequency data means little.
Check whether testing covers the complete door assembly, not only the glass or panel. Review laboratory results for Rw values, leakage points, operating cycles, air tightness, and installation conditions.
A 42 dB laboratory result may perform worse on site because of floor gaps or poor wall connections. Request sample sections and measure seal compression yourself. Small details matter.
Production control is equally important. Audit extrusion, powder coating, CNC cutting, assembly, and final inspection areas. Ask for dimensional tolerances, batch traceability, and corrective-action records.
The World Bank’s 2023 Logistics Performance Index gave China a 3.7 score out of 5, ranking it 19th among 139 economies.
Logistics are strong, but quality still varies between factories. Require a pilot order, third-party inspection, and documented packaging tests. I would not trust promises alone. Even a supplier with modern machinery can miss installation tolerances, and that weakness deserves honest discussion before mass production.
